Job Overview

We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Java Developers to join a dynamic engineering team on a hybrid contract basis at our Texas office. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of microservices using the Spring Boot framework and other modern technologies. The selected candidates will work closely with a collaborative team to enhance functionality and ensure the security and performance of critical systems. This role is ideal for professionals eager to engage in fast-paced development environments and deliver impactful features while maintaining code integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Microservices Design & Implementation: Develop and implement scalable and efficient microservices architecture using the Spring Boot framework.
• Security Compliance: Address and resolve security vulnerabilities identified by tools like Fortify, ensuring the system adheres to industry standards.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the engineering team to design and implement new features. Contribute to ensuring the integrity, quality, and scalability of code.
• Customer Portal Integration: Implement multifactor authentication for customer portals, enhancing security and user experience.
• Continuous Integration & Delivery: Utilize CI/CD tools to streamline development workflows, ensuring rapid and reliable delivery of features.
• AWS & Database Integration: Integrate AWS services and Microsoft SQL databases to support backend functionality and performance.
• Technology Stack: Collaborate in a full-stack development environment using technologies like Angular for frontend development, API Gateway for service management, and Spring Boot for backend services.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Java: Strong experience in Java development, particularly for backend services and microservices.
• Spring Boot: Expertise in Spring Boot for building and deploying microservices applications.
• Angular: Experience with Angular for frontend development, ensuring seamless integration with backend services.
• AWS: Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to support scalable cloud-based applications.
• CI/CD Tools: Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools to automate development pipelines.
• API Gateway: Knowledge of API Gateway for managing and routing API calls efficiently.
• Multifactor Authentication: Practical experience in implementing multifactor authentication (MFA) for customer-facing portals.
• Microsoft SQL: Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL for managing and querying databases.

Additional Details:

• Work Location: Hybrid (TX). The role offers partial remote work flexibility, with occasional in-office presence as required.
• Contract Type: The position is a contract-based opportunity through 06/16/2025.

Compensation:

• C2C Rate: $61.50 per hour (Candidates must stay within a $10 range of the C2C pay rate).
